Hey everyone,

In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Staff Members.

GENERAL RULES:
Threads or Posts relating to Religious, Racial or other topics that are deemed to be offensive to others, will be not be tollerated and will be removed without notice. All complaints are dealt with accordingly and will be investigated.

Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such. Bumping your own threads to gain "top list" status will not be tolerated and the thread may be removed without prior warning.

Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

Spamming is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.

We do not allow posts that are strongly sexual in nature or violate PirateRevival community standards. The PirateRevival team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about competitor's products, we will not tolerate blatant adverts of other bulletin boards or Radio Stations. Also, we would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of other boards.

Please refrain from posting adverts in threads about other DJ shows on other stations that conflict with the PirateRevival userbase.

We reserve the right to remove posts/shouts that we consider to be "offensive" to other users without notice. This includes posts in the shoutbox and Forum. We will not tollerate any features of the site being used for blatant abuse of other members and WILL lead to user accounts and IP's being banned from accessing the site.

While debating and discussion is fine, we WILL NOT tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. This will lead to user accounts being deleted and IP's banned from the site. Our decision is final in these matters.

If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English Translation of your post.

You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.

We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.
Any threads/posts of these types will be deleted.

Registered users will only be allowed to Download PR mixes after they have posted 20times on the Forum and have been promoted to PR Regular status.

Promoters of club nights, if you do not contribute regularly to the PR forums, please do not post threads advertising your nights. We reserve the right to remove threads in this case.


LINKS IN SIGNATURES:
Links in signatures must follow these guidelines:

A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate PirateRevival community standards.

The PirateRevival team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.).

Please refrain from adding links to other sites that are identical in nature to PirateRevival, this includes, other Internet Radio stations and Oldskool chat forums

Duplicate links to the same URL in a sig are not allowed.



LINKS IN FORUM POSTS:
Most external links posted in a thread will be subject to Admin approval before the post is submitted to the forum.

This allows PirateRevival administrators to verify that the link is safe for our users to navigate to

If you add a link to your thread and the post does not appear straight away, then this means that the post is awaiting Admin approval. Please be patient and do not re-post, as duplicate posts will be removed.

Please refrain from posting illegal or copyrighted material on the forums. Any posts of this kind remain the full responsibility of the user.



AVATARS:
Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.


While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
